The increased voters’ support for the Conservative Party (Høyre) continues, it is now the nation’s second largest and political party, according to the latest poll made by Norstat for NRK.
Høyre is up 2 points on the June poll, and now has the support of 25.4 per cent of the electorate, more than one point over the result for the right-wing Progress Party.
The Labour Party drops by 2 points, down to 29 per cent, but is still the nations largest party. Government coalition partner Socialist Left (SV) is also struggling, and is down to 4.8 per cent.
If there had been an election today, the Conservative Party and the Progress Party would have had a majority in Parliament.
- It is obvious that we have succeeded in our communication with the voters this spring, says Conservative-leader Erna Solberg to NRK
