A Scandinavian Airlines plane on its way from Oslo to Stockholm, with Norway’s Queen Sonja among the passengers, landed safely at Arlanda after it had been hit by lightning Friday aftermoon.
The Norwegian Queen was on her way to attend the Royal wedding in the Sweddish capital on Saturday of Crown Princess Victoria and her fiancé Daniel Westling.
All members of the Norwegian Royal Family attending the wedding festivities this weekend will stay on board the Norwegian royal yacht “Norge”, which arrived in Stockholm earlier in the week.
