China ‘blocking Gmail service’

Google has said the Chinese government is interfering with its email services in China, making it difficult for users to gain access to its Gmail programme. An error on a Google map suggests that Emden harbour in western Germany has been annexed by the Netherlands. Emden is close to the German-Dutch border, which runs roughly along the middle of an estuary separating the two countries.
